SHOPPERS

You do not have to consign to shop Sweet Pea Swap!

As a shopper you have the opportunity to purchase quality, gently used, infant, children, and maternity clothing and items and furniture at a discount price!

Want to shop before the public but don’t have anything to consign?

You now have the opportunity to shop your very own presale.  The Paid Ticket Holder’s Presale is always held at 5:00 PM on the Thursday evening before the public sale begins on Friday morning (see our homepage or Dates & Times under the Consignors tab for a detailed schedule.)  Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased on location at anytime during drop-off OR at the door the night of the presale.  Cash only will be accepted at the door.

If you know someone who will be consigning with us, they may purchase your ticket for you at drop-off.  EVERY person entering the doors must purchase a ticket, even if they are “just looking” or “not purchasing any items.”  Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Children ARE welcome at the Paid Ticket Holder’s Presale; however, please do not allow your children to open and/or play with the toys.

Sweet Pea Swap accepts cash and all major credit cards. No American Express.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL!  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY ITEM! Please be sure to check all toys and electronics to make sure that they are in working order BEFORE purchasing.  Feel free to find a Sweet Pea Swap volunteer if you feel that you need help to do so.

SHOPPER TIPS:

  •  Get there early! Take advantage of having first choice at the items you want.

  •  Shop more than one day. You will be surprised at what you missed the first time you shopped.

  •  Wear comfortable shoes.

  • Bring a laundry basket. There are shopping carts available, but they are limited in number. Have a laundry basket in your car in case there are no shopping carts available.

  • Trace your child’s foot on cardstock or poster board and cut it out to ensure the right size when you are shopping for shoes.

  • Take your child’s measurements and bring a measuring tape to ensure the right size when you are shopping for clothes.

  • Shop smaller and larger sizes as many brands vary in sizes.

  • Take notice of how things are done in case you choose to consign at the next sale.
